What is consensus?
Consensus is a position or opinion that is developed by a group, and that everyone in the group can live with. CSTE sees consensus building as a pillar of our work and offers multiple consensus-building options: position statements, briefs, and letters.
As the home of approximately 3,500 individual applied epidemiologist-members and 59 member-jurisdictions, we strive to articulate your voices and opinions on issues affecting public health epidemiology practice and policy, but we know that your individual voices are not as strong as the collective. By unifying and amplifying your voices and speaking as one, we become a more powerful, productive, and effective force to advance policies and best practices or elevate concerns and advocate for change.
To participate in CSTE consensus building activities, you must have up-to-date membership dues, which you may check by logging in to the CSTE website today. More information about membership types and dues can be found here.
