How to Join a CSTE Subcommittee Community

In order to participate in some of our CSTE Connect communities, you will first have to join a committee or subcommittee group through our main CSTE.org website.

Follow the steps below to join any of our CSTE standing committees or subcommittees. Once you have joined a group, you will automatically get added to the CSTE Connect community (if available) within 24-48 hours.

If you have any questions on setting up your account, please contact Shundra Clinton, Member Services Coordinator, at sclinton@cste.org or 770-458-3811.

1. Create a CSTE account

In order to join a CSTE subcommittee, you will first need to join CSTE and create a user account. If you already have an account, you can click Sign In.

2. Choose the appropriate Member Type

Read the descriptions below for more information about member types.

3. Sign in to your account

Once you have created your account, log in using the login credentials you created. You can also reset your password or create an account from this page.

4. Navigate to a Committee Page

From the main Committees dropdown menu, select the committee you are interested in joining. Note: The screenshot below may not reflect current committees and programs.

5. Click Join Group

Make sure you are logged in to see the Join Group button. By clicking "Join Group," you will start receiving communications about meetings and have access to the group's community on CSTE Connect (if available).

After clicking "Join Group," you will see a confirmation that you are now part of the group. If the group has a community on CSTE Connect, you will be automatically added there as well.

Alternative Method to Join Groups

In addition to the steps above, you can also manage what groups you belong to by clicking the Manage Profile section on the CSTE.org website.

Selecting "Groups" from the Community section will allow you to see all the groups you currently belong to and also groups you are eligible to join.

Clicking on a Group Type will display all the subcommittees available.
